We ask that any new clients pay a deposit at the time of booking. The deposit is not an additional charge, it is simply held in your account to secure your booking and will be deducted from the final total.
The amount of the deposit varies depending on the service, as listed below:

In the event that you are unable to attend, you will need to provide us with a minimum of 24 hours’ notice, if you cancel after this time you will forfeit your deposit. Your deposit will also be kept if don’t attend the appointment or are more than 15minutes after your scheduled appointment time. To ensure the return of your deposit please call the salon on 3189 5057, a minimum of 24 hours before your appointment if you need to cancel or reschedule otherwise you will forfeit your deposit. This minimum cancellation period will give your stylist a fair opportunity to fill your vacated spot.
We have found that the deposit policy is the fairest way of managing commitment to appointments and it also has the added benefit of keeping our costs down for our wonderful clients.
We offer an SMS reminder service which is sent to you 24 hours prior to your appointment. On receipt of this text, we ask that you confirm ‘Y’ for Yes or cancel with ‘N’ for No. Co. Studio Hairdressing reserves the right to cancel any unconfirmed appointments. ‘No shows’ will be required to pay deposits for all future appointments.
We take great pride in what we do and carefully allocate timing for each service to make sure that your appointment and our stylists day runs smoothly. It is simply not possible for us to achieve results in a shorter time frame than what we have previously allocated. So, we please ask that you arrive a few minutes before your appointment. Arriving late effects your appointment, puts pressure on our stylist and disrupts other clients’ appointments who are booked in around you and are now made to wait. If you arrive over 15mins late, your appointment may be cancelled and deposit required for future bookings.
We understand that sometimes “life happens” and for a number of reasons you may need to cancel your appointment. Please give a minimum of 24 hours’ notice if you can no longer make your appointment.
As we are a small business a last-minute cancellation or not showing to an appointment is a huge loss to us, as in most cases we have had to turn away other guests. It is because of this if you cancel your appointment, without notice, more than once we will require a deposit to secure a new booking. This amount will then be deducted from your docket at the completion of your service. The deposit amount will vary depending on the service required, see the table above.

If you have any known allergies or have had problems in the past with products, we ask that you inform your hairdresser at the start of the appointment so a product test can be performed. While we aim to provide a high-quality service, some products may cause side effects, which are stated on the packaging and by the manufacturer. Our salon will not be held responsible for any reasonably foreseeable side effect that might occur from use of our products.
